AAMANNS

Brief:

Development and launch of the brand Aamanns and opening of the Copenhagen restaurant and deli.

Assignment:

Visual identity, including logotype and universe. Print line, product line, interior design, furniture design and online.

Approach:

Smorgasbord demands respect! This truth has been forgotten in recent decades. With a stylistic grip reaching back to the progressive 1930’s, we sought to bring the strength, craftsmanship and gravity up to the present, so the modern Danish open sandwiches would be presented on the basis of both historical traditions and the rustic grocery style intact.

Comments:

In 2008 Aamanns was crowned as “the Lunch Restaurant of the year” in Gudme Raaschou Dining Guide. In 2009 LAND created the cookbook for publisher Olivia / JP Politiken “Aamanns to Lunch,” which in February 2010 won the World Cookbook Awards for the best local cookbook.
