EMPLOYERS
OF COPENHAGEN

Brief:

IAK – Industry Employers of Copenhagen – held on the occasion of its 125-year anniversary a big gala for all members. The ambition behind the party, in addition to being a fantastic experience for the participants, was to raise awareness among IAK’s members to the organization’s culture and work areas.

Assignment:

Visual identity, overall visual universe and output for online and offline.

Approach:

We focused on IAK’s adaptation to a more modern understanding of culture among industry employers. This was done by using IAK’s existing logo in a new context where its traditionally heavy expression was being facilitated by the use of colors and a hand-drawn line – and the steel became balloons for the occasion. The expression gained clout when placed in a symbiotic relationship with Tomas Saraceno’s amazing balloon installations in the air over Sculpture Street in the Danish National Museum of Art in Copenhagen.
