Brief:

Rollex has since 1963 produced the brilliant and often plagiarized, double-stranded cheese slicer, which inhabits many Danish kitchen drawers. In connection with restructuring the production process, Rollex desired the brand modernized.

Assignment:

Redesign of the Osti Original cheese slicer. New visual identity and universe, packaging line and website.

Approach:

With respect to an industrial icon and an almost 50-year history in the market we focused on good craftsmanship, tradition and the friendly expression of the product. The visual identity was anchored in the elliptical shape detail on the classic cheese slicer: The Ostillipse. Communication on the Web was executed at eye level and with a focus on the good food experience and the joy of the simple and functional design.
